Address fields problem

    Hi Jotform team!

    We have the same problem with 4 of our forms, in particular with the address fields.

    We created a form with address fields, with the state "Canada" already selected and a CSS field hidden: we injected css fields with this code

    #input_3_state, #sublabel_3_state {

    display: none !important;

    The problem is, the red alert appears when Canada is selected (ONLY with "Canada", the country we need to be selected!, it works with "Italy") and form can't be submitted but everythink looks ok!

    What can we do? I also remember you my previous problem about address fields: sublabels' name doesn't change as we try to change it!

    Please, can we have support? We need to solve it!

    Hi Franceso,

    Since the address field is mark as required all it's sub-fields will become mandatory. Removing it's part without any values will trigger the "required validation error". To fix that, simply use URL parameter and fill in a value for the "hidden state field".

    The state field name on your form is adresse[state], to use that in URL parameter, check below for example:[state]=ca

    adresse[state] <-- is the state field name

    ca <-- is a value that's prefilled to the state field. You can change this to anything you like.

    With having this, it won't trigger the error anymore. Let us know if you have further questions. Thanks!

    P.S. I have inquired an info to our dev team regarding on the not updating address sub labels. Thank you for your patience.
