How To Pass ID to iFrame?

Asked by earthdaysf on April 04, 2013 at 06:29 PM

If my form has an autoID field,

and i put an iFrame in a FreeText field,

and i put a DIFFERENT form into the iFrame,

is there a way to pass the autoID from the parent form into a textbox or hidden control on the iFrame?

Sorry to say but that's not possible with JotForm. There's no way around it.

Also, embedding another form within a form using iframe will not record the iframed form submissions unless both forms contains separate submit buttons.

Hope this clears your concern. Thank you!

if they are in same domain, the script in the iFrame should be able to talk to script in the parent page. I believe this can be done. Maybe someone out there has an idea how?

(yes, both forms would contain submit buttons.)
