Show e-signatures on emails insted of just linking to them

Asked by interchanges on April 05, 2013 at 01:08 PM

I have a form with the new esignature, but in the notification emails, all that shows up is a text link to download an image of the signature rather than having the image of the signature in the email. Please help me ge the image in the notification email, such that the email appears like a signed contract.

I can see what you mean, it only appears a link to the image rather than the signature itself

I am forwarding this to our developers so they can fix it .

I have left a note to the developer in charge via this thread. We will get back to you once we have any updates. Thank you.

Could you explain what is making this such a difficult problem to fix. It seems like you should just change the output code to include an <img> tag with the appropriate link. However, this problem has persisted for weeks, based on threads started by other users.

I would be happy to implement a work around using html code in my autoresponders and notifications, but none have been offered. We have paying clients that NEED this feature to work as advertised, but it seems like this is not a priority for your team.

Please provide some kind of solution in a timely manner that will satisfy our clients. Either fix your code so it delivers what it is supposed to, or provide a work around that other developers can use.

We do understand your concerns, but there is not much that we can do at this time. The ticket is still in Developer's to do list, and it is definitely that the ticket will be processed.

We have tried several work arounds, but unfortunately, there is no solution available for emails that we can provide.

Please note that our Grid Listing and HTML Table Listing reports show the image signatures, and after some time, image signatures will be added to the email alerts.

I looked back at some older tests of our forms, and these were working at one point. Is there a reason they used to work and do not anymore?

Is the image display of a signature a feature for paying jotform members only? like will that feature not work in a free account?

There were some problems with the signatures, and these problems were fixed, but images were replaced with the links. It is working in the same way for paid and free accounts.

We do agree with you, images should be included into emails, our Developers will fix this as soon as they can.

    Thank you.

E-Signatures can be now seen on submissions emails as a hyperlinked image instead of a normal text link
