    Hi there,

I've taken a look at the SilverStrip online demo and it looks like even through they do allow HTML input for pages, any javascript is automatically stripped out when you save the page.  Apparently this is a new change and it used to be possible to get around it (see http://silverstripe.org/general-questions/show/10249?start=16), but not anymore.

However there is some hope.  If you are running the instance of Silver Strip yourself you might be able to turn that filtering off, or can try to edit the footer file to include the javascript (see http://www.silverstripe.org/general-questions/show/12523).  To get this to work you would need to download the full source code for your Form and chop up the file and paste into both the page and the footer.  It's not going to be easy i'm afraid, but it is probably possible.  Sorry that I cannot be of more help since I'm limited to the demo version.  It might be worth asking on the Silver Strip forums if there are any new work arounds for inserting javascript.

    Thanks,

    Daniel

Thank you very much for your reply. I was racking my brain all day trying to add some various html code to the Silverstripe system and not getting anywhere. Before we purchased your software I figured I would check to make sure it will work.
I spoke with the advertising agency who set us up with the CMS and they said they can add a section in the back end to allow me to import just HTML. This would allow me to add HTML on any page just below the "Content" section.
Do you think this would solve the issue and allow me to use JotForm?

    thanks.

    Hi,

I am not too familiar with Silverstripe CMS but I guess it wouldn't hurt to try embedding the form using the HTML section that you were told about. Try inserting the form's code into that section then get back to us if doesn't work.

You may also give us the link to the page where you embedded the form and a screenshot, if possible. This will greatly help us in helping you find solutions to your problem. We will await your feedback.

    Regards,
    Neil

     Dear Jurgen,

Thank you for your e-mail. Yes, the code has been changed and the javascript part is missing, that's why it is not working... Unfortunately I am not familiar with Siverstripe, maybe you can find an option to add javascript to the page?

Looking for help on the internet, I have found this page:

    Hi Jurgen,

Is it even a Jotform form that you're trying to embed in your site? I looked up for an account using your email address but I could find any, much less a form.

With that in mind, I don't think there's anything else we can do to help you. You're using a product that is not ours, therefore we don't have any resources to help provide you any assistance. Please try contacting Motigo for support or search the web (Google, Bing or Yahoo) to find what you're looking for.
