How can I set up my forms to automatically complete the information based upon past input so my repeat customers, distributors dont have to fill in each part for every order - for instance - on some forms all you do is type the first letter and it completes it for you - also can you make a button that automatically fills in the billing adress field if it is the same as the shipping adress field?

    TIA

    Hey Lynn,

This feature is actually dependent on the user's web browser. Today's web browsers have a built-in feature that automatically fills out form fields. This feature is called autocomplete (also called autofill and autopopulate depending on the browser).

Some links about setting up autocomplete:

    Google Chrome - http://www.google.com/support/chrome/bin/answer.py?hl=en&answer=142893

    IE - http://www.online-tech-tips.com/internet-explorer-tips/edit-autocomplete-settings-in-internet-explorer/

    Mozilla Firefox - http://support.mozilla.com/en-US/kb/Form%20autocomplete

Note that enabling this feature will affect all websites and online forms you visit using your web browser.

Hope you find this information useful. Thank you for using JotForm!
