Why are Unfinished Payments counted as a Payment Submission?

Asked by morfo2 on April 10, 2013 at 01:44 PM

I'm a new jotform user and I've created a donation and a payment script for my website (www.tech-radio.pt) and I have a free acount so my Payment Submissions have a limit of 10 usages but the problem is that I get 1 submission for each button submission and not for a payment conclusion. So any person chose a value and press "Buy" or "Donate" and I immediatly get -1 in my Payment Submission Limit but they don't finish the payment. They go to the payment page (Ex. Paypal) and they can just cancel but I will lose submissions and I don't get any money.

I sugest that the payment submission only count's when is a finished payment.

    Waiting for aswer...

    Thank you very much!

Unfinished Payments even when Test Sending count as an " Incomplete Submission " and this happens because it was cancelled before the Transaction could be finalized but it went through to count for your Account Usage as a Payment Submission since the data was already submitted and because of this it is left in a Pending Status until it's been completed.
