The form integrated with Intercom using Zapier does not trigger edit submissions or updates made to the submission.

    Hello there,

    I have started using Jotform for my business and I am very happy about it, thank you for your service. 

    I am having a problem when people edit their existing form submissions. I use Zapier to connect Jotform to my other services (Intercom, Google Sheets etc).

    The problem is: the action is triggered when form is submitted. But when people re-submit the form after they edit, it does not trigger my Zapier connection. (i guess it is not technically a "submisssion") 

    How can you help me solve this problem?

    Hello Erdem - Is there an update action on Zapier? Can you please try adding UPDATE action as well and see if it works?

    By the way, please note that if someone edits their submissions, it will only overwrite the original data. Perhaps, you are not noticing the changes in your zapier?

    The Zap already uses Create/Update User, when form is submitted. 

    I guess that the problem is that the updating of the form does not trigger the Zap. 


    (about the second point, I look for overwritten data, but it does not change :( )

    Are you testing it with google sheets using zapier?

    Please confirm so we can test it on our end as well.

    I am testing with Intercom. The zap workflow is like this:

    - When a form is submitted on Jotform -> Create/Update user on Intercom

    Sorry for the confusion. Upon further checking, editing submissions won't trigger Zapier integration. It only triggers new submission as shown in the template.

    If you would like I can submit your feature request to our developer team so that if there is a response on the issue you will be notified here. However, please keep in mind that there's no assurance whether this will be implemented. It will highly depend on the viability of the feature, the number of similar requests we get, along with the workload of our Developers.
