JotForm mobile forms: is there an option to switch off the ability to see all submissions?

    Hi

We are testing your product with a view to setting up our company to make a lot more use of the product as we love it.

One of our use cases is data collection from candidates, some in areas with poor signal. Is there any way we could use the app on a tablet, have the offline data collection, but have the option to turn off the ability to see all other submissions from the app? i.e. so it would be like sending them a link to the form online, they can fill it in and hand the tablet back but they can't browse other form submissions?

This would be a super feature if it's possible.

    Thanks

The JotForm Mobile forms app does have the option to fill forms offline. Here's a related link: https://www.jotform.com/blog/how-to-get-work-done-on-the-go-with-offline-forms/

You are assigning forms to the candidates via the app. Is that correct? If yes, once they fill the form via the app, they can view only their submissions.

Only you as a form owner can see all the submissions.

If you are not using the app and just sending the form to the candidates to fill via the tablet, then the candidates can only view the form they are filling. They will not have access to the submissions.

Please let us know if you are referring to something different.

    Hi Gerard

You mention: "You are assigning forms to the candidates via the app. Is that correct? If yes, once they fill the form via the app, they can view only their submissions."

This sounds like what we want, how does that work?

For clarity, I would like to hand someone my iPad with the form loaded up, and the person I hand it to can fill in the form regardless of internet signal, but not be able to see the other submissions.

    Thanks

I think in your case, the best option would be to assign the form to your users.

    Here's a related guide: https://www.jotform.com/blog/use-jotform-mobile-forms-to-assign-forms/

    Here's a related video:

Please note that to fill the form, your user will need to download the app on their device.

    Hope this helps.

Thanks Gerard. Kiosk mode was exactly what we wanted.
