How can I continue form from different machine ?

Asked by aps786 on April 16, 2013 at 02:43 AM

    Hi,

My user may fill partial form and then wish to complete them later.  Is ther a way where user can continue with form later? I saw continue form feature but it seems its cookie based and will work only if accessing form with same machine.  How can one continue form from different machine?  I have email address in field and I would wish that if he enters email address, he should get all previously enter data and then continue with rest of data.

In fact I also visited this link

    http://www.jotform.com/help/97-How-to-Save-Forms-to-Continue-Later

But here session contains just email which can be guessed by other and can access other person data. Can there be any password too which only user know and can be used as session id.

    Hi Alpesh,

Unfortunately, this is the only way you can let users to continue their submissions on the other computer. You may just consider telling them to clear browsing history when doing or finishing submissions on another computer.

On the other hand, thanks for reminding me that this method is still helpful for this function. I have lately label this guide as "deprecated", I have removed that due to this thread. Many thanks.

    Cheers!
