    Integration with MailChimp - mapping First Name and Last Name fields

    Hi, It seems that the integration with MailChimp does not work well. As a matter of fact, two fields that are suppose to be mapped simply disapear (last name & first name). These requiered fields in Mail Chimp.

     

    Can you help ?

    As far as I know, our MailChimp integration is designed to work with the Full Name field from Quick Tools. The Full Name field has both the First Name and the Last Name inputs.

    Can you please try it?

    Can you please try removing the integration and adding it again to rebuild it to see if this helps any?

    Also can you please tell us which form this issue is happening on so that we can investigate it further?

    I have 17 forms. It takes me a lot of time to built them and to integrated them to my Web site.

    As long as I can see, all my forms have the same problem.

    Hello Claude and thank you for letting us know about this more. I've done some further investigating on the MailChimp Integration Issue and I was able to map the name field appropriately as I didn't have an issue with that or it disappearing. What I did have trouble with during my test is that it seems that something appears to possibly be broken since I was unable to get any of the data to even be transferred after trying a few different tests to attempt to get the form to send to the List so I think this may be a related issue. 

    I will go ahead and forward this problem to our Developers that have them take a second look into the issue more and we will get back to you as soon as possible about it.

    Thank you for your support. Can you tell me when the problem will be fixed? The actual situation is uncomfortable for us and we think about searching for another vendor. So, if you tell me that the problem will be fixed within the next few days, we will wait a little more before moving with another vendor.

    The Mailchimp integration is probably fixed. I have cloned your form to my account and was able to integrate it with the Mailchimp.

    Hi,

    I have no field in MailChimp called “nom complet”. I have one for first name (prénom) and an other one for last name (nom de famille). I NEED to have it like that for a number of reason. In that case, do you think your solution will fix the problem ?

    Hi Again Claude, I just tested this and it looks like the Integration is working again. It looks as if this problem might've occurred somewhere between us and mailchimp but appears to have been resolved.

    Can you please try applying a New MailChimp Integration to your Form to see if this works for you? And let us know if you are still having issues please.

    I ran another test again using this form here http://form.jotform.us/form/31284307950150 to check this just to be sure and it worked. Please see my results below using this test form involving the First Name, Last Name, Email, and Phone Number Fields mapped with MC.
