    Calendar field should be blank

Asked by dougperry88gmailcom on April 17, 2013 at 04:39 PM

Is there a way to make it so that the calendar field on a form can come to me with a blank date if a person chooses to not fill it in? Presently, it defaults to the date the form was filled out.

    Hi,

It seems you have figured it out already?

I can see your date/time fields are empty of default values by not enabling the default value property.

Please inform us if you have further question.

    Thanks.

I am wanting a blank date, but the above fix isn't working. Here is what it looks like when I tell it to NOT prefill the time:

Any suggestions? I'm using Windows 8.1 and IE. Same issue on Firefox.
