I wasa just playing with jotforms to understand how to upload and store large files, and I got a message about my account about to be deactivated for exceeding storage limits.
I have enabled the link between jotforms and googledocs specifically so my files would be stored on googledocs. Yet I still received the email for exceeding storage limits. Aren't the files stored on my own personal file space on googledocs?
Given the integration, I'm confused as to where on jotforms I'm exceeding my quota as I'm intending for the files to be stored on google drive.
Please help me understand how this process works. I'm a software developer who understands web protocols, so feel free to be as technical with the explanation as you like :)

Your account is in OVERLIMIT status as you have exceeded your upload file limit. I see that your uploaded file size is 102.68 MB.
No matter what integration method you use on your form, the upload files / submission first go to JotForm and limit count increases.

Are they stored on your servers, or are they transferred to google drive? That's where I want them to be long term. I really don't care if they are on your servers at all, as I plan on accessing them from google drive.
The reason that its over limit is that I was experimenting with uploading larger files. How do I free up the space I'm using on your servers so I can keep using this account? I don't need any of the files there.

When you integrate the form to google drive, it will save a copy of the uploaded files into your google drive account and at the same time, a copy of the uploaded file remains on jotform file server.
Since you have the file on your Google drvie account already, it can be safe to delete the file in JotForm server.
Please take note that in order to delete the uploaded file in a submitted forms, you will have to delete the submissions that have attacments.
You will have to delete submission with attachments to free space" OR upgrade subscription to maintain your account.
As is now, your curret free account already exceed the allowed storage space limit. So you have an Overlimit and it can cause disablement of your account and forms.
