Emails not getting through, are there any IP addresses or domains that I can whitelist?

    Hello,

I have set up a form to sent an email whenever the form is filled out, however, this email account is not receiving these emails, neither in it's inbox or spam folder. Our school uses Gmail as our email provider and I suspect Google is not allowing mail from you that appears to be addressed from our domain through. Are there any IP addresses or domains that I can whitelist to hopefully clear this up?

Thank you for contacting us. I have checked the mail logs, and it shows that notifications have been sent successfully: https://www.jotform.com/help/293-How-to-View-All-Your-Form-Email-History

You may white-list the following domain names and sending IP addresses: https://www.jotform.com/help/145-Whitelisting-JotForm-IP-Addresses-and-Domains

Follow-up question. Can I not send a notification email to an address other than the address the account is registered to?

In testing, I can get a notification email to my address (jswann@davidsonacademy.com) when I submit a form, but not to transportation@davidsonacademy.com. So, I changed the email address my Jot account is registered as to transportation@davidsonacademy.com but I'm still not getting notification messages to that address.

You can change the email address on the Notification: https://www.jotform.com/help/41-How-to-Change-the-Email-Address-Used-for-Notification-Email

However, if you use the TEST EMAIL button, it will send the test to the email address registered on your account. You need to preview the form, and do a real submission in order to test the new recipient.

Maybe I did not make it clear above that I had already done that before writing in yesterday afternoon. Now what?

Figured it out! Found a setting on our transportation@davidsonacademy.com email account that I had missed.

    Thanks for your help.

PS. My apologies if I was a bit testy there, thought I was a little frustrated at the time. It really took talking the issue through with some folks on my end for me to discover the setting I had missed.
