I have our administrative timesheet and massage & training timesheets (both considered form 2) linked to Timesheet (form 1).
Unfortunately, I have followed all the instructions but the form 2 is not saving after clicking next. We have to always restart from the beginning. What am I missing?

I have checked the autoresponder email in the first form and see that the links are provided with the session variable which is why the form is not being saved.
However, it is no longer required to create two forms and create a session separately. When you enable the Continue Forms later option in the second form, the Save button shall automatically displayed on the form and the user should be able to save the form and get the session link in the email provided.
Please check the second form using the direct URL and see how it works.
Hope this information helps!

Thank you but I'm not sure how the continue forms later works. I enabled the feature, but when I tested it, the form closed and I did not receive anything notifying me of how to return to the form to continue. What else needs to be done to have this feature work without using form 1 and form 2?

Also, after researching more, it seems like the instructions from jot form states you can only use the save and continue later when using card forms. And after checking my form 1, it in fact does have the ?session= extension and it's still not working.

Here's is where you can configure the Continue Forms Later of your form.
If your respondents choose to save their forms to continue later,
they will be prompted to enter the email address where they would want to have Continue Link to be sent. Notice that there is also an option to just get the shareable link and save it somewhere else they want to.
The screenshot below shows a sample of the email that your respondents will receive.
Feel free to let us know if you have any further questions.

I'm sorry but maybe I wasn't clear. As my question was stated, I have already configured the form as you have shown and the user had no prompts to enter an email and save the form. Can you let me know why?

Which specific form are you referring to?
I checked the following form: 193425663377164. I clicked on the Save button and the window appeared successfully. Please refer to the attachment.
Do you mean that you do not see this window?
We will wait for your response.

Correct. When we pull up the form as a user, the save button does not appear.
