I want to create a template report that can be laid over the top of a pdf

In the legal profession we receive lots of pdf documents, some of which are very standard stuff particularly for housing transactions.  I would like to be able to explain what these documents are by overlaying a report over the top.  At the moment you have say a legal document and then a seperate document explaining that document.  It would be easier for the general public to understand if I could have a template that I put over the top which I could add to.  The important part is that I don't want to spend hours inserting individual comments into pdfs.  That would be a waste of time, this has to be really simple and quick.  Any suggestions welcomed.

You want to add a PDF document into the form explaining the requirements. Is that correct?

Please check out the PDF Embedder widget: https://www.jotform.com/widgets/pdf-embedder

Let us know if this what you were looking for.

Halfway there, that doesn't allow me to point particular parts of a document and explain the meaning.

I'm afraid that there is not a widget that will allow this, an alternative is to add a text element on your form and add the notes there, the text may be placed below the PDF embedder widget.

There are other alternatives too, but you may need to check this on your PDF editor tool, here is a guide that may help: https://smallbusiness.chron.com/write-notes-pdf-files-55644.html

    Thanks.
