Missing Longitude/Lattitude data

    Hi,

I started using Jotform for one of my customers and the primary reason we wanted to use it was to automatically capture latitude and longitude location information on employees who input time from their smart phones.

We're now finding that about 20 - 30% of their records have blank location information.   We can't tell a pattern to help you troubleshoot this (e.g., it was on certain days, or locations, etc.).

Can you help us fin out the problem?   I'll send you the link from my customer's site.

Now that I think about it - it just dawned on me:  if the employees don't allow location tracking, then I guess you wouldn't be able to capture any data.

I just tried opening your form on my mobile browser that is connected to WiFi but GPS disabled and it is still able to get the Longitude and Latitude.

However, when I opened the link using Google Chrome on my laptop, I was first prompted if I would allow jotform to know my location, without allowing, the longitude and latitude data are not filled.

Could it be possible that some of your employees were actually not using their mobile phones?
