    Populate Text Box from 3 other options

    Asked by BruceWayne on April 08, 2011 at 06:12 AM

    Hi,

    I have the following;

    Text Box 1
    Dropdown 1
    Text Box 2

    Text Box 3 (Final)

    Is it possible for the following;

    1) Enter text in TB1 (Ex: BW)
    2) Choose option from DD1 (Ex: CFC)
    3) Enter text in TB2 (Ex: 12345)

    Then the TB3 would automatically get populated with the following for example;
    BW-CFC-12345

    Hello,

    I'm afraid but that's not possible, not within the Form Builder's capabilities, anyway. It may be possible using either a customized JavaScript that would instantaneously update textbox 3 or a PHP server-side script that would dump the combined input in a database or send you via email.

    However, both workarounds require a good amount of time and programming skills.  It's not easy but it's doable although I'm sorry to say that there's not much information I can offer regarding that. Thank you for your understanding.

    Regards,
    Neil
