How to get the Purchase Order calculated field to update in embedded form?

Asked by pinkphurree on April 08, 2011 at 11:08 PM

    Hello,

I really appreciate the Purchase Order tool to include a calculated (total field) on the form.  In the preview on JotForm.com,as well as the link (http://www.jotform.com/pinkphurree/prdr), the calculated (total field) updates as a quantity is selected.  However, on my website, the calculated (total field)on in the embedded form does not update and does not seem to be connected to the qunatiify field.

Is there something special I need to do to get the calcualted (total field) to update once a quantity is selected?  I've created this form so that non-online payers for a charity event can complete and submit/print the form and use it as an invoice.

I really like jotform.com form builder, it's been invaluable to our non-profit website management.

    Thanks for any direction.

    Hi,

I was able to replicate your issue after I turned JavaScript off in my browser. You see, special functions (like required field validation, total calculation) in your forms are handled by scripts that is why it is essential that scripting be enabled on every visitor's browser.

    without JavaScript

    with JavaScript

To enable Javascript for different browsers, refer to these pages below:

    Firefox

    Chrome

    IE8

    Hope this helps.
