Email validation case sensitive issue

Hi Jotform Support,

It appears that your email validation requires that addresses be given in all lowercase letters. If I enter any uppercase letters in an email address, I receive a validation error (i.e. please enter a valid email address).

Since email addresses are case-insensitive, letter case should not be a factor in the address validation.

Please let me know how best to proceed.

To clarify, are you referring the email validator widget?

I have tested the widget and it seems,it is not case sensitive.

May we know if you have setup an SMTP in your email validator widget?
