    Secure seal is now linking to global sign website instead of showing SSL information

    Asked by dcombs44 on April 29, 2013 at 10:11 PM

    I am trying to get the secure seal to display ssl information instead of linking to global sign's website.

    I was told before to change my ".us" address to ".com".  I did that, and it was working.  I checked my form today, and it is no longer working.

    Please let me know what i need to do to get the seal to display propertly.

    Thanks!

    @dcombs44

    We have recently switched from GlobalSign to Comodo (PositiveSSL) as our SSL provider. Kindly re-add the seal to your forms and save them to view the changes.

    When I add the seal in the form builder, it displays the comodo seal.

    When viewing the form, it displays as the globalsign seal, and still links to globalsign.com.

    The ssl info for the page does indeed state that it is encrypted by comodo, but the seal is still showing up as globalsign, even though it shows up as the comodo seal in the form builder.

    Thanks

    @dcombs

    Yes we've realized that already and we do apologize about that minor problem. It has been reported to our developers so that it can get it corrected for everyone as quickly as possible.

    @dcombs44

    Sorry for the troubles caused. Your forms should now display the PositiveSSL badge.

    By the way, the badge is not clickable as Comodo does not explicitly provide a script for such an option. We are still in communication with Comodo regarding this matter.

    We will inform you in case of a positive news.
