    Why are we only getting some of our form submission notifications?

    We are getting spotty form submission notifications by email. All of the submissions are in the system, but we are only getting a few by email.  The forms in question are:

    Thanks for contacting us!

    Your email addresses are not in the bounce list. I also checked our mail logs and according to mail logs email notification was sent to your email. Please kindly check your spam folder. To prevent not receiving email notifications, please follow this guide How-to-setup-email-alerts-to-prevent-emails-not-being-received-issues .

    Thanks Glenn.

    However, our issue is that we ARE receiving notifications, just not all of them. They are not in our spam folder. We had already set up our email notifications according to the instructions provided in the link below [http://www.jotform.com/help/208-How-to-setup-email-alerts-to-prevent-emails-not-being-received-issues], so I don’t believe that is the problem. Any other suggestions? Why would we get some email notifications and not others?

    Hi,

    I cloned this form http://jotformpro.com/form/20666537545965 and edit the sender name and sender email in notification setting and I also entered the same email addresses. After I test the form, I checked our mail logs and this is the result.

    Thanks for testing Glenn. We did receive your tests on the cloned forms. There was also a test form we just submitted on this form http://jotformpro.com/form/20666998260970 from “Belinda Test” that neither of us received a notification for. I also submitted a test from “Denise Test” this morning using the same form and we both received the notifications…

    I will try cloning the forms to see if that fixes the problem, but I’m skeptical. It seems to be something else since we are getting the test forms I am submitting and not the test forms Belinda is submitting (bgporch@hotmail.com/ bporch@becongress.org.

    Hi Denise,

    Sorry for the inconvenience that may have caused. When you make some test submission on the said forms, did you just simply click the TEST button? If yes, your test submission would be only send to account email address not on the email recipient of the form that you assign. I would suggest you to test your form on actual submission.

    We ARE testing on actual submissions. We haven’t even used the test email button.

    @dmayhan,

    Thanks for confirming this to us! If you have received the email notification on the cloned form,please change the sender name value to jotform and sender email value to noreply@jotform.com. This usually solve the issue and for this case , this solved the issue.
