I would like to apologize for any inconvenience. However, when you create a cloned version for a form, that form is now a completely separate form. Updating that form should not make changes to the original form.
But if this is not what's happening on your end, we will need your help to determine what's causing the issue. Can you provide us the forms (cloned version and original) you are experiencing the issue you have described, please? You can give us an example of an update you made on the cloned version and that update was also applied to the original form.
