We have used jot form to successfully accept submissions for a film festival and it works perfectly but we'd like to improve the efficiency of our form a little. Have searched forum and experimented with our form but so far no luck on what we are trying to achieve.
We transfer details from the form in to an Excel Spreadsheet and for the input box relating to the "length" of the film being submitted to us we'd like to force the applicant to enter the time length in the following format "0:00:00" as in (Hours:Minutes:seconds).
Currently users only have a text box and depsite heavy hinting that they fill it in this way we still get incorrectly formatted answers which mean we can't perform time calculations on our excel sheet without going in and manually changing any incorrect ones.
Screenshot below shows current box - its just a text box with an example. I havent linked to the sheet itself as the form is live and working so don't want anomalous forms or numbers popping up!
Thanks for your help!

Hi John, if I am understanding you correctly you basically wish to add a simple Hours-Minutes-Seconds Field to your form to help optimize it for the input so that it works better with Movie Format and also in your Excel Sheet.
We don't really have an exact feature for this in the TimeDate Field but this is actually an advanced ability with the Phone field when you turn Masking to " ON " and set up the Value to time lapse format.
Instructions on how to do this:

Yes! That seems to work. It would be good if I could also stop people entering over a certian number also, but this will work much better than the free text!

Unfortunately, it is not possible to stop people from entering a certain number on the field. However, the best alternative for this would be to add a Hover Text which adds a description for the field.
Hope this fields.
