    Save form to continue later

    Asked by mbakhtiar on May 04, 2013 at 06:26 AM

    Hi,

    I  used this useful link and followed steps carefully .  http://www.jotform.com/help/97-How-to-Save-Forms-to-Continue-Later

    Then, I tried it by myself and found that when I came back again by clicking on the sent link, the survey was started from the first page (although the responses were saved on those pages), and I need to keep pressing next to receive the place that I left unfinished. I am wondering if it is possible that the participnats can immediatly jump into page that they left unfinished, instead of moving forward again from the satrt of questionnair.

    Also I want to know if there is any possibility that each part that participant is finishing would be automoticaly submitted into my submissions.

    In advance many thanks for your always useful supports,

    Mehdi

    @mbakhtiar

    I dont think that redirecting a user to a particular section of that page will be possible. Let me check and revert back to you on this.

    Unfortunately, partially submitting a form will not be possible. As a possible workaround, you can break your multipage form to multiple individual form. Once user submit the data of one form you can redirect the user to second form using custom thank you URL. You can repeat the same step for all your forms.

    Let us know if you need further assistance on this.

    Thanks,

    Sidharth

    Hi Mehdi.

    Can you please give us the form URL so we can check that for you? It is impossible that the function won't work if you have the right settings.

    By the way, we also have a feature with the same function. Check this: How to Enable Auto Fill Feature | Save Form Entries to Continue Later. Although, this will only work with a single computer. You cannot access saved data on a different computer.

    Thanks
