    Hi there,

We use Jot Form to collect player data from our football sessions. The first form is a disclaimer but from there I would like to set up a form that takes the names of those signing up to the session and add it to a registration form, so at every other session going forward we can check those names off and work out how often people are attending, monitoring drop off rates and linking in to potentially an iphone sending a text to those who haven't been attending.

I am not sure, if I understood your question correctly. Have you created your workflow? If so, please provide the link of the form, so we can check it.

You can automatically pass form data to another form. So, you will redirect the user to another form and prepopulate the second form with the previous form's data. You can check and follow this guide:

    https://www.jotform.com/help/351-How-to-Automatically-Pass-Form-Data-to-Another-Form

We will wait for your response.

Hey Buddy! Thanks so much for this!

Here is the form I would like help with

    https://form.jotformeu.com/91904169936367

And what I would like to do is create a new form for every location/ session ie Powerleague/ St Helens/ etc

and the data I would like in new form would be the location and name

    So basically

    step 1- fill out form

step 2- the name and location goes into a linked form

step 3- in the new form, all the names of people who have signed up at that session

So me as the coach, I can open St Helens Regi Form (https://form.jotform.com/200352599437056) and and see every player who has ever signed a disclaimer (form1)

in a list and i can check their attendance in with a tick

You will be able to see all players who signed up from the Submissions page. So, you will be able to track this information from there. Here is the guide:

    https://www.jotform.com/help/269-How-to-View-Form-Submissions

You can use "Change Thank You Page" type of conditions, in order to redirect your users from the first form. So, the your main form will redirect to the appropriate form. Your conditions should look like this:

    You can follow this guide:

    https://www.jotform.com/help/317-Change-Thank-You-Page-URL-Based-on-a-Condition

In order to be able to pass the name and the location from the first form to the second one, you can follow this guide:

    Hi IvayloK

thanks so much for your time and this has been very helpful however I feel I am not explaining myself enough so apologies for that.

For the first form players sign their disclaimer and the information I would like to see in the next form will be their name and location however this form will not be used by them- only the coach. So using the thank you page doesn't really help as the player only ever uses form number 1.opefull

Hopefully a bit better this time

    :)

So your form workflow is like this:

1.) Player will fill out the first form
2.) You want to pass the location and name from the first form to the second form. However, you don't want players to see the second form, correct?

If that's the case, unfortunately, the only way to pass the information you need is by using the thank you page or this guide: How-to-Automatically-Pass-Form-Data-to-Another-Form

And your player or form submitters needs to submit the second form so that it can record submissions/data. It is not possible to forward the data and automatically submit the second form without clicking the submit button.

Let me know if I am missing something.
