Email Validator

    We are using the Email Validator wizard on a variety of forms. Occasionally, our clients will experience one of the following two issues.

    1) when the client uses the Email Validator, they never receive an email. We have taken the following steps: We have confirmed the email address is correct and verified the email is not going into the spam folder? Please help.

    2) when the client uses the Email Validator, they receive the validation code by email. However, when using this code, the validator indicates it is not a valid code. We have taken the following steps: We have changed browsers and always enter the code within a few minutes after receiving the email. Please help. 

    These issues are not directly related to any form but randomly across all the forms that use the Email Validator.

    Hi @mjfriesen!

    I would like to apologize for the inconvenience you are experiencing, I am more than happy to assist you with your inquiry.

    Unfortunately, I was not able to replicate the issue you are experiencing. I have added the E-Mail Verification widget to a test form of mine and have run several test submissions and I have been successful in verifying the emails I entered.

    I know you have stated that this occurs on different forms, however, if you could kindly provide us with the URL of one of the forms where you are experiencing this issue, we can certainly take a closer look.

    In the meantime, I would suggest that you remove the widget from your forms and then add it once again to allow a refresh of the widget. I also went ahead and cleared your forms cache in case this is causing issues.

    Please do test your forms again and get back to us with your results so that we may investigate this matter further if necessary, we look forward to your response!
