A Couple Questions About Jotform

Hi there! I had some questions that I couldn't find the answers to online.

    1. Can you re-open existing forms and make changes as a job progresses? For example, I have a safety form that I want people to fill out on job sites. Is there a way for them to fill out the first half and sign it, and then fill out the second half (or edit the first) and sign it later?

    2.

Is there a way to trigger an email to someone if they select a certain field? Rather than sending an email to someone every time a form is completed, is there a way to automatically email a manager if someone checks "Yes" to an injury occurring in their safety form?

    Hi @Hadden_Jason!

Thank you for contacting our support team, I am more than happy to assist you with your inquiry.

To answer your first question, yes, you can definitely have a form act as a job in progress and fill it out in as many sections as needed. You can do this by utilizing the form's edit link which will allow you or the form respondent to make edits to the original submission or continue filling out the form. I would suggest using this helpful user guide to assist you in doing so: How-to-Let-Users-Update-Their-Form-Submissions-at-a-Later-Date

Please note that the same edit link you add the Autoresponder email can also be added to the Notification email.

Please do get back to us if you require further assistance, we will gladly continue to provide support. We look forward to your response!

For your second question, I will be splitting it into another thread so that we can answer your inquiries separately and provide thorough explanations for each. You may find the new thread here: https://www.jotform.com/answers/2145230
