SMS confirmation widget: Unable to translate or change some text to another language

    Hello !


    I would like to use the "sms confirmation" widget but i have one problem with the translation.

    Currently you can change :

    - the name of the blue button (to send the sms)

    - the text of the sms


    But you can't change this :

    - the field "Enter Code"

    - the button "Confirm"

    - the button "Try-Again"

    - the message when it succeed or fail (example : your phone number has been successfully confirmed !"


    I know it easy to understand but in France, people are really bad with english... and i'm afraid they feel strange about english text suddenly appearing in an otherwise french-only form.

    Also this is the most important step, the one where you ask someone its phone number, so they have to feel right at home.


    is there a way to translate all the text from this extension ?

    Since the messages are being displayed from the server after validating the number, it is not possible to change the text at the moment. Since the widgets are loaded using iFrame and the text may not be displayed in the Form Translation when multiple languages are added.

    Let me forward the thread to our backend team as a feature request to add an option to display/translate the text in the SMS confirmation widget. Unfortunately, we cannot provide any ETA at this moment. However, if there is any news you'll be updated here on this thread.

    Hello There.

    It's been 3 years from my message on the subject of localization.

    Is there some news about it ?

    We are starting to use this feature on all our forms and we would really need to have a fix on this.

    Hi julienlevel,

    As per checking, this feature has not been implemented yet. Please note that a particular feature is developed depending on our Developer's workload, how viable it is, and how many other users request it. If there are any updates, we’ll circle back to this thread and let you know.
