Mobile Forms : Include user variable in stored data

This is more of a feature request than a support question:

When a (logged-in) user of the mobile app fills a form, I would like to see their username included in the stored data.

For now, I have to let users chose their name from a dropdown list, which is not ideal. I can't see why this data is not being included automatically.
