I have tried downloading the excel file and was able to reproduce the same issue as well. The probable cause of this issue could be the file generating script was not able to handle the data that is included in the excel file. I have forwarded your concern to our developers to investigate this issue further.
We sincerely apologize for the inconvenience this has caused you.

We are sorry for the delayed solution, but no problem seems to exist after an overall excel library update.
Thank you for your patience. Please let us know if the issue still exists.

No, the problem doesn't exist any more...because I deleted the "Read Only" field and replaced it with another new field. That was the only way to fix it, since you were unable to reverse the "read only". What I would like to know is why did you even bother to answer...seven months after the problem showed up.

Our apologies on the matter, unfortunately this issue did take long to verify due to the large amount of tasks that our Developers have been involved revamping JotForm's services. Thank you again for your patience. And thank you for using JotForm.
