    Database Features

Asked by Vince Ferraro on May 10, 2013 at 02:03 PM

Form the forms I create is there a database feature? Let's say I have a form with 10 fields, and 100 people fill them out that would be 1000 data sets.

    Questions,

    1) Could I see the data for an entire form online?

    2) Could I do data analytics for the form to look at all of the input to the form by field or by form?

    Thanks in advance.

    Regards,

    Vince

    Hi Vince,

You can post the form's submission data to a MySQL database.

Like what was describe on this article.

    How-to-Insert-Update-Submissions-to-Your-MySQL-Database-Using-PHP

Or you can also download the data submissions as CSV file and just import it to your database.

    Use this guide How-to-Download-Form-Submissions-to-Excel-CSV-PDF

    1) Could I see the data for an entire form online?

Yes. You can see them when you are logged in to JotForm by going to My Forms / Submissions page

And you can create Reports from the form's submissions - http://www.jotform.com/help/chapter-6-Reports

    2) Could I do data analytics for the form to look at all of the input to the form by field or by form?

Since you can create reports or download submissions, you can do analytics by form or by fields. The data are available. You can even integrate the form to Google spreadsheet , so, you can do more analysis on the spreadsheet results.

Hope this help. Please contact us again anytime for any other inquiry.

    Thanks.
