Order ID missing error while testing donation form

    I have set up a donation form for our Non-Profit and I'm getting an error. When I put in my information to test it I should go to the PayPal site to finish the donation. I am testing it Live... It is not is Sandbox model... This is the error I receive


    warning.pngORDER ID is missing from the form submission.

    The reason you are seeing this error is that the payment field is not connected in the form:

    Please connect the payment field and then test. Also ensure that you have a Business account on PayPal as PayPal Checkout requires you to have a Business account on PayPal.

    Contrary to what you are saying I did have it connected when I tested it. and yes I do have a business account on paypal. for some reason it is not staying connected. I connected it about 5 times and still got the same error message. I did find my own solution however. I found a Paypal donation form that was already made in your list of examples. when I used that and connected it it worked fine... I could not see anything they had done differently from the form I had made... Here is the one I used and altered for my own use...

    If you can tell what I did differently it could help someone else who is in the same position?

    Hi David,

    The form you shared (https://form.jotform.com/200418030739145) is using PayPal Standard and it is not a PayPal checkout.

    I also checked the first form you shared but it is now deleted. You can contact PayPal support and ask what PayPal account type (Standard, PRO, Business, etc) you have for more information.
