Is there a way to create a quantity count for your products being sold?

Asked by haroldgreen on May 13, 2013 at 03:45 PM

I only have ten slots available for each grade in my summer camp. I was wondering is there a way to create a quantity count for each grade so that when it reaches ten registers are automatically let known that grade level is sold out. This will be helpful to me so I won't have to refund any moneys. Thank you.

Unfortunately, there's no way I can think of to accomplish that. There's a setting in the Form Limits section of the Preferences called Unique Question

but the "Grade" field would have to be changed to a dropdown and, more importantly, only one person would be allowed to register per grade, as opposed to ten.

Hopefully, my colleagues can come up with some better workarounds.

My apologies. Now that I've re-read your query, I realize that you were actually referring to the ten check boxes at the bottom of the form. However, we don't currently have any inventory tracking system where you could limit the amount of any product sold. I could submit a ticket requesting it but I can't state if or when such a feature will be implemented.

Perhaps the best option for the time being would be to use PayPal's "Limited Stock" feature, as suggested by Neil Vicente.
