Button Radios: make a person select only one option from list

I want to make Button Radios so that a person can select 1 option from the list, but so that he can then cancel his choice.

Are you referring to the Button Radios widget?

Using this widget, the user can only choose one option. If they want a different option, they can select that, which will automatically cancel out their first choice.

Example:

As you can see, at a time, only one choice is selected. The previous selected option is automatically deselected.
