    Feature request:Validation: Scandinavian letters "Æ, Ø, Å"

Asked by Mettevoll on May 15, 2013 at 06:22 AM

I'm trying to make a registration form where people can sign up for an event. I have turned on validation for the fields where the user enters the participants name or adress, and it is set to accept alphanumeric values. The problem is that if I try to enter a name or adress containing the letters Æ,Ø or Å, the form will display a message saying "This field can only contain letters and numbers". This is very frustrating as I really want to use validation to ensure that all the fields are correctly filled out. Is this a bug or am I missing something?

    Thanks for contacting us!

I think this is not a bug because the validation in our forms is for alphabetic which Æ,Ø or Å is not included but I will forward this to our next level support and add this to our feature request list. But we cannot promise when this will be implemented, it is based on number of user requesting this feature.
