    Opera v11.10

Asked by skech on April 14, 2011 at 04:00 PM

I have tried a form with the upload button at http://sketchprinting.com/supply-design-files.htm but it brings up an error message saying "You can only upload following files: pdf, doc, docx, xls, csv, txt, rtf, zip, jpg, jpeg, png, gif, cdr, ai, psd, indd, odt, odp, odg, pot, pub" etc , I have tried jpg, pdf, png, psd, ai files but still the same error.

This is only happening in opera 11.10, works ok on firerox, ie, chrome, safari, I thought it was just my form but the same problem trying to upload a screenshot on this form.  Please help

    Hi Kash,

In addition, while waiting for the issue to be fixed. you may also try to download the Opera V 11.10 Beta here - http://www.opera.com/browser/next/ The form upload worked properly when I used this Beta version.

We'll keep you posted on the updates.

The only problem is that users browsing with the stable version will still experience the issue.

why would a stable version not work, and yet the beta would, seems a bit backward.

    Hi skech,

You have a valid point there! Please correct me if I'm wrong, but I believe the current beta version available at Opera's website is an enhancement of the current stable release but is still under testing phase that's why they can't classify it as a new, stable version yet (they called it the "latest preview release" Opera 11.10b1).
