Store value different than selected response

Is it possible to change the value that is stored as a response to something shorter than the response in the form?

For example, if I have a multiple choice question, instead of storing the whole choice, can the form store a short value.

Choice: I select this first choice

Value stored: 1

Choice: I select this second choice

Value stored: 2

Etc.

I need to be able to do this because I'm passing the values from the form to ActiveCampaign as tags and it can't store the longer response selections in my forms.

It is possible to assign values to your fields.

Once assigned, you may get the values to show in a form calculation widget.
