Regarding your "General Approach...Section 6a. To send the Autoresponder Template to the customer if he has been approved, add a CHANGE E-MAIL RECIPIENT Condition:"
How is the auto-response recipient's email address determined? Isn't there a way for the system to automatically capture the email address of the original requester?
I am trying to send an email back to the requester once the request has been approved.Thanks

You will need an Email field to your form if you want the autoresponder email to work. The original requester needs to fillup the Email field to receive a copy of the submissions.
In the email settings advanced page, you need to enable the Send on Edit feature so the requester will receive an email once it is approved.
