Why can't I add 'Form Fields' to the Session Email? If a user creates multiple sessions, there is no way to tell one session email from another.

I see you are using the Continue Forms Later feature which auto generates the session link.

Please note that since the user has not submitted the form, the sessions are basically owned by them yet and the data they have partially filled out are intentionally not viewable to the form owner.

It is upon their discretion whether they'd like to continue their old session or create a new one. And in the event that they create a new one, it is their responsibility to keep track of the sessions they have made.

So the only other option is to use the 2-form method?

For now, yes. However, please note that the 2-form method is already deprecated and I cannot guarantee if its functionality will be maintained for long.

The feature of 'continue form later' needs to somehow create a unique session ID so that the user can have multiple sessions going at once, with the ability to save and return easily to the correct form.

The Autofill creates a session ID, and it is saved for up to 90 days in our system. When users open back the form without the session, they'll be prompted to continue with their draft or discard. Users can discard to create a new session.

    Hi @PanetaTech!

The session ID's are being generated by the Save and continue later feature.

Whenever someone hits the save button a custom URL is generated with all of the pertinent information they have filled out in the form, that way when they access that link later on it will be pre-populated and saved on the form so they can pick up where they left of.

As always, if you have any further concerns regarding this topic please feel free to reach back out, we are more than happy to help!

@sebastianvanh is there a way to be able to see their session IDs on our side? From what I gather, the user is the only one who receives a continue email. Is there a way that we can have access to their session ID somewhere on the back end?

The sessions are viewable on the Submissions Page > Incomplete Submissions tab:
