How to set the current date as default in the date field?

I have a service contract that is setup as a form in JotForm. Is it possible to have the date field where I would date the contract with the current date the client access the form default to the current date? So it would be like an evergreen date field since my printed name and signature already display as default fields in the form? For reference the form is in my account as Commit To Fit Service Agreement and Policies. Thanks!

You may set the current date for the date field from the date picker field properties. Please see the screenshot below:
