Hi,
the autocomplete address widget does not fill city field automatically for cities in Brazil. Any suggestion?

I have just checked your form and the widget you have for address seems to be working, please see this screen-cast:
Could you please provide us more details of which cities you are trying to add so that we can investigate.
We will be waiting for your response.
Regards.

You are right, if you enter the city in the address field, but if you enter the zip code ou the street for example, it doesn't work.
Try these zip codes in different cities:
05542000
74574001
90040371

I tested the form with your zip codes and it works. Please refer to the attachment.
If the issue still persists, can you please try to use a different browser?
Let us know if you need any further assistance.

Sorry for the confusion!
I think it is the system default that City and Zipcode work vice-versa. However, I am escalating this to our developers to further look into this. Please be noted we can not provide any time frame for this rest be assured we will notify you here once there is an update.
Regards.

Hi P3LifeTrials,
We are sorry for the inconvenience caused to you. We use the "Place Autocomplete" service of the Google Maps Platform and I can say the issue comes from their side. We get data and show the result. The city field is responsible for the result of the "locality" component and there is not the mentioned component in the returned data in these cases. Also in some countries cities are also states/counties and they don't have a "locality" component flag in the database.
You can also test how it works on their platform, the result is the same: https://developers.google.com/maps/documentation/javascript/examples/places-autocomplete-addressform. We will update the widget if there will be any change. Thank you for understanding.
