How do I append a text in the page break?

Thank you so much for outlining all of the considerations when setting up a print css file. I have a bit of an odd use case that I can't seem to find a solution for. I have a page with two columns comparing the text of two similar long-form texts side-by-side. There are several headings throughout the text that I would like to reappear with "(continued)" after each page break. Is there any way to use the :after pseudo-selector on page breaks?Thanks again!

You can append the text with the page break in the settings as shown:
