Is there any way for someone to access my account without giving my primary login details? 

I have a designer that I wanted to delegate my form management but I'm a bit skeptical about giving him my details.

We also do not encourage users to share their account login credentials with others.

Yes, you can use the sub user feature to share forms, view/edit forms/submissions/access rights with the concerned user. But, for this feature, you will need to subscribe to the JotForm Enterprise plan - https://www.jotform.com/enterprise/faq/ 

Else, if you want the user to only edit forms, then you can use the Form collaboration feature too - https://www.jotform.com/help/419-Understanding-Form-Collaboration
