Can I open a form to a certain page or field?

Asked by CSWA on May 18, 2013 at 09:02 AM

WIthin a URL string, can I launch a JotForm and open the form to a certain page or field?

Say JotForm has 5 collapsed sections. Depending on interation with user PRIOR to the form, I want to pass a parameter in the URL to open the JotForm to one of the 5 sections.

If the form's URL is appended with the field's ID it will go straight to that field but to my knowledge, even though it would be possible to go straight to a form collapse using the same method, it won't be possible to automatically open it. For example, if you have a field whose ID is #id_34 and the form's URL is http://form.jotform.us/form/12345678901234 and the ID of one of its fields is #id_32, changing the URL to http://form.jotform.us/form/12345678901234#id_32 would make the page go directly to that field. (Here's how to find a field's ID.)

Please let us know if you need further help with this.

    Thanks

Also, it's not possible to use the URL to go directly to any page beyond the first.
