    If statement ?

Asked by jroeser on April 15, 2011 at 09:59 AM

I am looking for a way to say "If dropdown box 1 has a value of xxxx than show SSSSSS in dropdown box 2 values" I will need to do this for a couple different products.  Example.  Select round shap and size 1,2 and 3 show up for "select a size".  Select rectangle shape and size 4, 5 and 6 show up for "select a size" dropdown.

    Hi there,
unfortunately there is no way to change the value in a drop down after it has been set up, however you could achieve a similar result but combining conditions with multiple drop downs.  To do this you'll need to setup sub drop downs for each top level drop down.  Go to the conditions Wizard and select "Show/Hide a form field" and then set your conditions for each sub drop down as follows.

Sorry that it is not exactly what you want, but it should work if you set it up correctly.  Let me know if you need any further help with it.

    Thanks,

    Daniel
