Switch information form one form to another

One person bought tickets to the wrong show and wants to change the tickets.

Mark Unrath bought 2 tickets to the Coyote Hole venue

I started to add Mark to the Prince Michel spreadsheet but ran into trouble. I could not add the tickets, nor could I delete his info from the Coyote spreadsheet.

Also, I would need to adjust the ticket counter at both places.

Please help me.

Hello Gail - It is not possible to transfer information/submissions between forms. What you can do is to submit the same information to the correct form for the user. Since the user has already made the payment/transaction, you can then submit the form and not make the payment.

The submission will go to the incomplete payment section of the submission page, go there and approve the submission to include it in the completed submission.

Please note that completing a submission will NOT process any payment as there was no payment information to begin with. The system will simply treat this as a regular submission so it can be included on form reports, and that email alerts can be fired off as usual.

We also do not recommend making changes to the spreadsheet as it may break the connection between your forms and google sheets.
