Question 1:  Curious how to be sure the ip address and time/date fields apply to the signature box they're placed under.

#2 Also, any ideas as to whether these details are needed in order for a contract using the esign I'm using on my form to be legally binding in SC?

#3 Is there a way to have a stock version of my signature saved somewhere, or ability to copy and paste it into a contract that I'll be signing off on a bunch?

You've all been extremely helpful thus far, thank you.

1.) To clarify, do you want to set the date and time when the user filled out the signature widget? Also, are you referring to the submission date and time?

If so, please note that the submission date and time are only generated once the form is submitted.

As for your other questions, I have moved it to a new thread to better assist you. Kindly follow the links below.

    1) I have two fields added on my pdf editor template.. one for date/time and one for ip address.  I assumed those were somehow correlated with the date and time of signing and the ip address of the person signing.  I have two signatures on a contract though, so if those are indeed connected to the signing widget, then how do I add the same two boxes underneath each signature, knowing it's each is matching up with the correct signature?

    Does that make sense?

I see, so you are referring to the PDF document of your form.

The IP address and submission date in your PDF document are related to each submission.

For instance: I filled out and submitted your form today (3/12/2020), my IP address and the date will show in the submission/PDF document.

As for the signature, I reviewed your form and there is some kind of approval process on the form. The IP address and date of submission will remain the same even if you edit the submission and resubmit the form.

If you want to place a date to know when the signature is filled out then you can add another date picker to the webform and ask the signee to fill in the date or set it to the current date.
