    Mutli-part form with multiple approvers

Asked by jonhall on May 23, 2013 at 10:46 PM

I have created an electronic agreement for a fraternity room and board contract.   I want to be able to have a member complete the form with their personal information including specifying a parent or guardian who will be the guarantor of the rent.  Once they click I agree and sign the agreement with an e-signature I want to send an email to the parent or guardian specified and have the parent or guardian complete their section of the form, click agree, and sign with an e-signature.  I then want to notify both the student and parent that the form has been submitted once complete.

I've played with page breaks and even saving the form using a sessionid but none of these seem to address exactly this situation I have.  Has anyone done this sort of form?

I think I have come up with something. You need to create an email notification that should appear as an "autoresponder"

Because autoresponder itself will not work on edits. I also  tweaked the conditional logics , this time it should work. You can state in your autoresponder to the Parent /guardian that they should just fill the Guaranty Information section

Also, I had to set off the required validation for Student signature. Because on the second edit (when parent will sign) , the signature is not carried over. But you should receive both

Make sure that the second conditional logics set up for Notification 2 (the autoresponder that should show the completed form) is setup on this way:

You can clone my test form (which is a clone of yours)  here

    I hope my workaround helps
