Submit Button missing on IPad OK on PC etcAsked by District1010 on May 25, 2013 at 12:44 PM
I have a Ticketing solution for an Event that has been embedded in my website (Xara) the form works just fine on just about any browser but on an IPad the Paypal Submit Button is missing..
ipad pc button missing xara solution
Very good but it doesn't seem to work on a 'real' IPad so there must be something amiss? On a 'real' PC I don't see, nor do I want to, the Oktoberfest logo at the bottom of the page. That's there so that it appears on the Acknowledgement Form which is just fine thanks to earlier support from your team. Just left with an inability for Ipad users to book and pay for tickets. Thank you!
Let me add to that, I get the same as you when I use the direct URL to the form using the IPad but hopefully you will understand why it needs to be embedded in a website and that I guess is where the problem lies. That said Xara do provide a Widget for JotForm so I assume that came from yourselves?
Within there is 'a' solution not sure if it's the only one? I simply increased the length of the form within the website and it now works OK on an IPad but looks a bit naff on a PC as it's too long.
I test this also via an iPad Simulator and I additinally also checked it on my personal iPhone 4S but I am not seeing any issues. Do you already have it embedded and this is where you are seeing the problem instead then if I am understanding you correctly or was this problem occurring on the direct link to the form when you viewed it? If you already have it embedded can you please share the link so we can inspect it from there? Which iPad Generation was this problem occuring on? And what is your Safari Version for it?
You may want to try clearing your iPad Safari or Browser Cache then try looking at it again. We also have two guides for Xara 6 and Xara 7 or you could just grab the physical Xara Embed Code. It may additionally be a good idea to try Clearing your Form Cache as well.
Please let us know if you are still having issues.
