Not answered SumbissionsAsked by maineventsecurity on May 27, 2013 at 07:28 AM
Hi, I think I am having the same problem as a similar jotform customer who has recently emailed in.
We are getting jotform submissions to our dropbox folder called 'not answered' I cannot work out what question that is not being answered as our form is very long. This has only recently started to happen. Nothing has recently be altered to allow this. We do have a lot of required sections that people have to fill in. Cheers
May we know the form in question so we can check it here? We would also appreciate if you could provide a screenshot on the problem. I am not quite able to understand about what you mean on "note answered", perhaps it's a new issue so we'd appreciate if you could elaborate it further.
We'll wait you reply. Thank you!
The form is: http://form.jotformpro.com/form/30613952903957
I cant seem to upload a snapshot of the screen. But i will try and explain it better:
In dropbox there is intergrated folder for my application forms to be uploaded. Normally when someone submits a form it creates a folder called something like: 235406238602185907In the last 2 days when someone submits a form the folder created is called: Not Answered - 235406238602185907
Hi, Dropbox sync will have "Not Answered" only when a user submits a form without filling required fields.
Required fields option will be failed to act on 2 situations.
1. There may be a conflict between the java script code of your web page.
Just test your form with the direct form URL. and see whether you have the same problem.
Feel free to ask for further clarification.
I have tried to do the form, not filling in the required fields and it comes up with the warnings 'this field is required' and the form will not submit. So it is working ok for me.
Its just a bit odd that the last 3 people who have submitted the form all have the folder called 'not answered - xxxxxxxxxxxxxxx'
ok thanks. i will check through their forms and work out what they have missed out.
